Youth Mentoring
Our goal is to influence and impact the lives of young people in a positive manner by providing loving, caring, and quality role models.
Life Management Skills
Young people are provided with self esteem, anger management, violence reduction, and substance abuse educational workshops.
Supervised Community Service
Youth 'give-back' by helping others in the community. Under supervision, they perform voluntary work at community-based organizations and at events. We meet at our location every Saturday at 8:30 AM. If you are interested, call us to get signed up today.
Counseling
Individual, family, pre-marital and marriage counseling are provided to meet the needs to people. DiSC personality profiling services are administered as needed by our qualified staff.
Career counseling is a tool available to help individuals ascertain what profession he or she is best suited for and the educational tracks needed to reach career goals are identified.
Youth and/or families in crisis are referred to us from a variety of community service organizations, local schools, the courts, the Department of Children and Family Services, and the Department of Juvenile Justice. Call us for an appointment.
Parenting Classes/Workshops
These workshops are based on a model created by Dr. Scott Sells of the Savannah Family Institute. This successful model empowers parents to effectively deal with the issues related to adolescence.
Impact Moms
These mentoring support groups are offered for single moms and pregnant mothers between the ages of 13 and 35. They address the life issues needed for successful mothering and are designed to educate, build self-esteem, and motivate. During these meetings, mothers come together to address the challenges of single parenthood and encourage one another. We meet on the second Friday of the month at 7:15 PM.

L.I.S.T. Camp
LIfe Impact Summer Tutoring camp is a multi-week life changing experience for children K - 6 grade. Academic needs are addressed in fun-filled ways preparing the child for the next school year. Campers will enjoy creative programs such as music, crafts, drama, dance, and sports. Field trips are scheduled each week. Lunch and snacks are provided.
After-School Program
Children and teens are provided with after-school programming. Help with homework and academic needs are addressed by competent tutors. In addition, students participate in reading, physical education, and fine arts activities. A computer lab is available for on-line work and snacks are provided daily. Call us to enroll your child.
Child Sponsorship Program
At Life Impact, we believe in impacting, not only our community, but also the world. Therefore, we have created the LIFE Impact Child Sponsorship program. This program makes it possible for you to support a child in countries around the world for just $25 per month. We are currently supporting children in Haiti. S.L.A.M. Basketball
S.L.A.M. (Saving Lives Athletic Ministry) in partnership with LIFE Impact is providing structured basketball games and events for local teams of youth and adults to compete in. These healthy, safe activities are being provided on-site for the families of the North Miami communities. Practices start in January 2009. New Vision Youth Group
TEENS, these meetings are designed with you in mind. Do you like DJ’s, rap, upbeat music, flashing lights, and hanging out with other teens? If so, then New Vision Youth Group is the place for you every Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM. Come out and check us out this Wednesday.
LIFE Impact, in partnership with Evangel Church International, offers these meeting just for you. You can come visit us at our facilities located at 14040 NW 7th Ave in Miami. Pick-up is available in a limited area – call (305) 953-5433 ext. 64 for information about rides.

Teen Camp
Teen Camp is especially geared to meet the needs of youth in grades 7 – 12. During the summer, they participate in life skills, money management, abstinence, health and wellness, and physical education classes. Community service projects and fine arts lessons are also an integral part of the summer programming. The final week of camp takes place at an Adventure Camp in Tennessee where they participate in activities such as white water rafting, mountain biking, paintball, and rope climbing.
